As a veteran educator on so many levels, I have gained the experience and adaptability to assist students. Just because you are struggling with a concept or topic does not mean you are not capable of mastery - you may just need to be able to approach it from a different method or perspective. I have been doing this long enough to know that everyone can learn with the right approach for them as an individual.

I have been teaching secondary-level (Middle, High, and University) students for 27 years. I have taught a wide range of students and assisted them in finding success.
I work with students to find their strengths in learning and tailor our times to accent those strengths and ensure understanding of content. I work to meet students at their level of understanding and make sure their foundational understanding is secure and then design our time together to focus on knowledge growth.
In my educational background, I have an MS in Biology, an MA in History, a Masters in Teaching and Learning, and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction.
I specialize in Social Studies content ( World History, US History, Geography, including AP levels).
Students can gain a remarkable knowledge increase working with an experienced educator who can adapt to their learning needs.
