About Darya
My name is Darya, and I am an experienced Mathematics tutor with a Master’s degree in Mathematics awarded with Distinction)from the Mechanical & Mathematical Faculty of Belarusian State University. I also graduated from the highly selective Lyceum BSU and participated in regional and international maths championships.
I have extensive experience in private tutoring, as well as teaching mathematics clubs at Imperial College and at a private school in London. Over the years, I have helped students prepare successfully for GCSEs, A-Levels, entrance exams, and the GMAT.
I take a clear and structured approach to teaching, focusing on building strong foundations, developing problem-solving skills, and improving exam technique. My lessons are adapted to the individual student, ensuring steady progress and growing confidence in mathematics.
I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to reach their full potential.

My lessons are designed to deliver clear progress from the very first session. I quickly identify gaps in understanding and focus on strengthening core concepts before building up to exam-level questions. Students are guided step by step until they can solve problems independently and confidently.
Each lesson is structured but flexible: we revise key theory, practise targeted questions, and regularly use past papers to prepare for real exam conditions. This approach consistently improves both understanding and exam performance.
Lessons last 60 minutes as standard, with longer sessions available during exam periods or when intensive preparation is needed.
I teach GCSE, A-Level, entrance exams, and GMAT, supporting students of all abilities — whether they need to build foundations, improve grades, or aim for top results.
My goal is always the same: measurable improvement in confidence, accuracy, and exam success.
