My typical teaching method is to start off by learning about the student's learning style and how much they already know about the topic. After that I will start off with the basics of the programming langauge. After each lesson, the student will be instructed to complete a small coding challenge. Based on that, I will be able to determine whether the student mastered the topic or not. I know how and when to provide feedback. Feedback is essential to teaching as it allows me to speak to my students, learn how they feel, what they care about, and use that knowledge to draw their interest.
