About Pragya
I studied Computer Science at King's College London, both Bachelors and Masters degree. I am very passionate about my course and especially the mathematical side to it. I have obtained a high level of education, attaining 3A*'s and 3A's at GCSE Level and A's in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A Levels. I have also attained Silver in the UKMT Maths Challenge. The choice of subjects for my A Levels says a lot about my interest in Mathematics and from that interest stems the passion to teach it. I enjoy teaching the subject as much as I enjoy learning about it. In my spare time I read about the subject to broaden my knowledge of it.

I take the student's needs into consideration first and my teaching approach will be centred around what the respective student would like help with. I always maintain a friendly environment. Apart from mathematics I can offer general advice regarding applying to University, as I have just been through that process. In terms of teaching, I have devised a pattern that has proven to give me (and my students) good results. Before class, I prepare notes on the agreed chapter. My notes include an explanation on each topic, problems on each topic, and a few questions that will follow. After that, I bring questions specific to the chapter from a number of past papers. I do this for every chapter in the syllabus and after all the chapters are completed, I bring a complete past paper to be done under time restrictions. If my student would want to be taught using a different pattern, I am more than happy to change my own. I hope you choose me as your tutor and I look forward to working with you. If you have any more queries, get in touch! Additional Note:- I am fluent in Hindi/Urdu. Hence, if any student would feel more comfortable for me to speak in that language while tutoring, that will be fine by me.
