About Mikael
I achieved 5 A*s in Maths (95%), Further Maths (97%), Economics (90%), Psychology, and the EPQ. I am currently studying maths at Warwick which is a top 4 university in the UK for the course. I achieved 9 9s, an 8, and 2 7s in my GCSEs, with 2 of the 9s being in Maths and Further Maths (156/160). My A Level results were ranked the highest in my cohort (1/246) in one of the top leading schools in the country (LAE Stratford) and I had title of 'Maths Scholar' during sixth form, for being one of the 10 most proficient students in the faculty. I often teach my own peers concepts in maths they may not understand well by breaking down the complexity into simpler ideas!

I aim to teach how I wanted to be taught in secondary school. I like to establish a more casual teacher-student relationship, like a mentor because just finishing A Levels, means I have a fresh memory of sitting and studying for both GCSEs and A Levels, therefore I offer an approach to teaching backed by my own experiences as a student. I like to typically teach 2 hour lessons for secondary school/sixth form tutees (year 7 - year 13) for GCSE/A Level Maths, Further Maths, or FSMQ Additional Maths online with sufficient breaks to not overwork the student, and I ensure the student retains flexibility in their own times and lengths for these breaks (within reasonability). I have experience in paid private and public tutoring (in a centre), with some of my tutees going from grade 4 to 7, and grade 6 to 9. Also volunteered in tutoring year 11s maths for experience.
