I use an explicit direct instruction approach to teaching new concepts and skills to mastery. I use engagement norms to ensure my students are engaged throughout the entire tutoring session. I use ongoing assessment data to ensure I am achieving results and share these results. I have experience teaching students from Kindy through to Year 6, however I would be comfortable teaching students in high school for areas that I have experience and knowledge in.
