About Melanie
I am someone who genuinely cares about students' progression in using the language for everyday use instead of solely focusing on their achievements on paper. I introduce real-world problems and topics in my classes to ensure students are always up to date and have experience in sharing their opinions about different subject matters. I encourage students to always speak and strive to get to know my students personally so I can better plan and cater my lessons toward their individual needs. I am currently a graduate from UTAR in an English Education degree and am also the top student in my course. Rest assured, you are in good hands!

I believe in student-centered learning. I will assist and facilitate students in completing English tasks across the four main skills. A lesson would take an hour. I have given both group and personal tutoring in English online during the pandemic. I also taught in a school as a practical teacher. I am open to teaching students from Standard 1 to Form 5.
