About Lakshmi
Biology has always been my favorite subject, and as an aspiring medical student, my interest in understanding how life works runs deep. Throughout high school, I realized that trying to memorize everything in biology is not only exhausting, but it also doesn't work long-term. Instead, I found that the most effective way to learn is through deep visualization - using diagrams and videos to see how things connect, combined with active recall and consistent practice questions.
I chose to start tutoring because I want to share this way of learning with other students. My goal isn’t just to help you memorize facts for an exam; I want to help you truly grasp the concepts and understand the "why" behind the theory. Because these study methods worked so well for me when I was navigating the vast CBSE syllabus, I know how to make the material clear, digestible, and genuinely engaging for you.

My lessons are designed for CBSE students in Grades 9 to 12 who want to excel academically without feeling overwhelmed. Having consistently been a top scorer—with a 97% overall in Class 10, a 98 in Class 10 Science, and a 96 in Class 12 Biology—my teaching approach focuses entirely on deep conceptual understanding rather than mindless rote memorization.
How our classes are structured:
Duration & Frequency: Each session is a focused 1-hour class, held 2 to 3 times a week via Zoom depending on the student's academic goals.
Syllabus Strategy: My primary goal is completing the syllabus ahead of time, but doing so comfortably and effectively. This structured timeline ensures we leave plenty of time for thorough practice, revision, and doubt-clarifying sessions.
Exam Performance: We don't just study theory; we master execution. A major core of our classes is dedicated to solving past years' question papers (PYQs), mastering paper presentation, and learning high-scoring answer writing tips that impress examiners.
As a relatable peer mentor, I provide a supportive, zero-judgment environment where we build both subject confidence and stress-free study habits!
