About Thomas
Hi, I’m Tom, a recent graduate of History and German from Cardiff University. In GCSE History, I managed to get an 8 and at A-level, I got an A. I started German at University as a Beginner but worked hard enough to spend a Year in Frankfurt and develop my proficiency to C1. Through several years of learning History and Languages, I have found there is never one way of learning. I only know that if you don’t enjoy or have fun with learning, then it tends to make it a harder mountain to climb. That’s why I want to help students enjoy their subjects more to help better their grades. I am more than happy to adapt my lessons to each student's needs, whether it is focusing on a specific exam paper that needs attention, building confidence in reading and writing, and specific subject knowledge for History and German.

I have experience tutoring and mentoring language students as well as History students. I can tailor my lessons to each student to meet their expectations and get the most out of the lessons. I am able to be flexible with how long a lesson lasts as some topics can require more attention than others. My lessons are aimed at GCSE (Yr 9, 10 & 11) and A-level (Yr 12 & 13) students.
