About Laura
Hi, I am Laura! I am finishing my Concept Art Master at UCA. I have a strong classical background in Art and Design since college in both Italy and the UK, including Central Saint Martins and the Academy of Beauty Art in Naples. My background blends classical art history with contemporary visual culture, giving me a unique perspective as both a teacher and practitioner. My aim is to make art history clear, inspiring, and relevant—whether you’re preparing for exams, applying to art school, or simply exploring your curiosity. I teach through storytelling for a thoughtful, entertaining, and adapted to your level. You don’t need to be an expert to start—just curious!

My lessons focus on helping students of any age understand the history of art and learn how to analyse and “read” artworks — from composition and symbolism to context and meaning. I use a conversational, image-based approach to make art engaging and accessible. Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but flexible. Students can follow a structured programme or suggest a topic, and I’ll tailor a lesson around it. I am here to show you how to read and understand art — any kind of art, not just one piece. With practice and critical thinking, you’ll gain the skills to analyse, write about, and even create art with confidence. Whether you’re preparing for exams or exploring a personal passion, my lessons are designed to help you grow and express your unique voice.
