About Arundhati
I am a recent postgraduate in Ancient History with three years of experience in research and writing, focusing on the history and contemporary culture of India. My primary interest lies in the social history of both ancient and modern South Asia. Through my work, I aim to share my knowledge of history with students at all levels, hoping to make the discipline not only interesting but also relevant to their lives today. History is often perceived as boring, and its importance in understanding our contemporary world is frequently overlooked. I want to help students go beyond the syllabus, encouraging them to explore the broader subject and understand its implications. Let’s work together to make both the subject and the syllabus more accessible, and form a deeper appreciation for the world around us!

I believe in the method of teaching being flexible and fluid, building a structure in collaboration with the student and what works best for them. I am open to teaching both school and college level students. For school students, my subjects would include Secondary School level History & Civics (ICSE) and Social Science (CBSE), and Senior Secondary Level History (ISC) and History (Ancient, Medieval, Modern) for CBSE. Further, I am open to teaching B.A students on Ancient and Modern History, and Archaeology. I am also open to teaching Adults interested in General History of India and specific themes within the discipline.
