About Heenal
I am currently on a gap year before I take my place at Cambridge University to study History. I have a passion for academia and helping people achieve the best of their abilities, and have a thorough grasp on how to tackle both History and English at GCSE level. I have experience working with younger students as I acted as a study mentor to many pupils during my time in school.

My teaching methods are concise and simple. When approaching a new topic, I will set several exercises to ensure that a thorough base of knowledge has been understood by the student. We would then revise this knowledge in a session and make sure to secure it in weaker areas. I would then set a piece of explorative writing in which the student would consider the topic critically. In the next session we would discuss the piece and how to elevate its complexity and make sure that higher-thinking skills are being appropriately shown.
