About Alan
I'm currently a student at Oxford who is keen about learning about the past. I have a consistent academic track record and have used similar methods to prepare for all of my exams which I would gladly share with you. History can be a very difficult subject at times but the most important thing to learn is to condense information and not get overwhelmed - you can't remember everything, so we will focus on the most important parts!

I'd hope to provide engaging lessons about the past and cover complicated topics with you! We would focus on the areas which you find hardest - you decide what we would cover. I'd be comfortable teaching GCSE and A Level, especially the Tudors and Russia 1917-1953. Also, if you are planning to apply for Oxbridge (especially Oxford) I would be happy to provide guidance for History entrance tests and interviews!
