About Ava
I have a Bachelor's degree in Medieval History and Archaeology from the University of St Andrews, where I received a First with Distinction, and a master's degree in Museum Studies from UCL. I have been a tutor and nanny for over seven years and specialise in an encouraging, gentle style of teaching. I genuinely love helping children grow into their passions and thrive in learning environments.

My lessons are suited to each individual student, picking up on personal styles of learning to create a unique plan for future success. I want students to feel confident asking questions and endeavour to offer explanations and guidance that encourages independent problem-solving. My academic background has afforded me experience in a wide range of historical disciplines across time and space; from classical to modern, Europe to the Middle East.
