About Dani
I take my role as a tutor seriously and always approach lessons with professionalism, preparation, and respect for each student’s goals. I graduated from Commack High School with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, one of the most rigorous academic programs offered, and I’m currently an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My academic background means I’m organized, dependable, and experienced with high expectations. I come to every session prepared, on time, and with a clear plan tailored to the student’s age and needs. I communicate clearly, set realistic goals, and create a structured but supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and focused. Whether working with younger students or advanced learners, I maintain a calm, respectful, and encouraging tone that helps students stay motivated and confident.

History doesn’t have to be confusing or boring — and I genuinely love showing students that. I have a deep passion for history, and I bring that energy into every lesson, whether I’m working with younger students just starting out or older students preparing for advanced exams. I focus on making history feel like a story that actually makes sense, not just something you have to memorize.
I graduated from Commack High School with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, one of the most challenging academic programs available, and I’m currently an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. I’ve completed advanced coursework in history, English, Spanish, math, and science, which helps me adapt my teaching style to different ages, learning styles, and goals.
My lessons are structured, patient, and engaging. For younger students, that means clear explanations, examples, and building strong foundations. For older students, it means learning how to write strong arguments, analyze sources, and feel confident in tests and essays. Above all, I make sure students feel supported, encouraged, and comfortable asking questions.
If you’re looking for a tutor who’s knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely excited about helping students grow — I’d love to help make history easier, clearer, and even fun.
