About Ranjita
I am a full-time employee and a mom to an amazing 3rd-grade student (who has just finished 5th grade at home, and we spend only an hour a day together). I believe that we all have inherent talent and learning aptitude, and we must tap into it early on and let the neural network expand. In my free time, I like to play with my child, make cardboard spaceships, bake, make candles, make soap, crochet, saw/woodwork, make birdhouses, etc. As a full-time financial administrator at a prestigious R&D institute, I am responsible for almost a quarter of a billion dollars in transactions, which means I work with numbers, logic, and people all the time. I thrive on new learning opportunities. I am currently learning the Korean language and loving it.

I don't teach just the numbers or the sciences. I always teach why 1+1 = 2, or why 2*4 = 8, or why the earth is not round, and how echolocation works. Instead of teaching concepts, I teach the principle: why the object falls and why it falls at different rates, and why it falls differently on other planets. I show the bigger picture of how each concept and learning point fits in the bigger universe. If you are looking for cool, excellent, interactive lessons, this is your stop.
