I hold a MSc. degree in Physics. I tutored undergrad students for 10 years while on campus and have been teaching Physical Science as a high school educator for 5 years. My preferred teaching method with regard Physics is to first introduce the relevant topic in a general manner ie. What lead to the discovery of the phenomenon, a general overview of the workings of the phenomenon, its implications and its real world applications. This is usually followed by the related theory. This is ideally followed by a practical demonstration of the theory. Basic problem solving is demonstrated and practised followed by advanced problem solving.
