How I structure our 60-minute lesson:
0-10 min: Warm-up & Review We begin by reviewing key points from our previous session before moving forward.
10-25 min: Pinyin & Pronunciation We’ll practice initials, finals, and those important tone-change rules so you sound like a native speaker.
25-40 min: Core Vocabulary & Grammar We introduce the day’s topic (e.g., describing people or family). I’ll teach you essential words and grammar points.
40-50 min: Interactive Practice Through role-play and Q&A, we practice what we’ve just learned to check your understanding. 50-60 min: Chinese Culture & Characters We end with learning the logic behind characters and exploring cultural traditions.
Preparation: Before every lesson, I will send you a custom handout so you can follow along easily and use it for review later.
