About Harriet
I am a Private Tutor working across the Tunbridge Wells area preparing children for the 11+, as well as supporting primary-aged children with their writing, reading and maths. I also work as a SENCO and tutor children with a wide range of needs to make significant progress, such as dyslexia and Autism. I am incredibly passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential. I am friendly, caring and create engaging lessons where children love learning! I have a BSc in Social Sciences from the University of Bath, have a Postgraduate degree in Teaching (Primary-all years) and have currently started a Masters in Leadership. I also hold the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination.

In the first lesson, I will provide a detailed assessment of each student allowing me to put together carefully planned sessions. As a current SENCO, I believe that it is incredibly important to plan every lesson based on the way a student learns best. I cover reading, writing, maths and 11+ exam preparation. I can also support a wide range of SEN needs, as I have over 5 years' experience as a SENCO. I discuss the outcome of each lesson with parents so that everyone is clear on progress.
