About Abby
I have been a collegieate-level STEM tutor for the past 3 years in pre-med courses. I have had experience tutoring at all levels of education, including K-12 and college. I graduated with a 4.0 in Honors Biology from the University of Alabama on the pre-med track and understand the workload of students. I have had great success with my students, with many reporting better understanding and improved grades. I love making personal relationships with my students to better understand their needs and goals for their education.

I allow my students to guide their own lessons with what they would like more help on and what their goals are for each sesson. We can either work one session at a time or a series of sessions targeted at a subject. I have had many years of experience tutoring in the STEM field and know what it takes to learn new, complex subjects. Lessons are offered for high school and collegiate level biology, math, chemistry, and organic chemistry. Courses include AP classes and honors classes, and are adjusted to your learning style.

When I was studying for my calculus exams in college, I worked with Abby to help me become a better problem solver. She was very patient with me and I felt like she really cared to help me through my class. I didn’t feel like she judged me the way I had felt with other tutors in the past. Overall, Abby was a great tutor and I had a great experience.
Abby was my Organic Chemistry tutor for 2 semesters and I don’t think I could have done it without her! She was super flexible with time, really understood what I needed to study, and gave me creative and fun ways to study that made me enjoy the class.
