About Rida
My name is Rida, and I am an Honors Bachelor of Science student at the University of Toronto, with a strong GPA. I am passionate about teaching and helping students succeed in Math, Physics, Chemistry and Organic Chemistry by creating a positive and supportive learning experience. I am patient, organized and committed to helping every student build confidence and truly understand the material rather than just memorizing it. Alongside my academic success, I have experience working in professional and community environments including Elections Canada, Lakeridge Health and Big Brothers Big Sisters, which has strengthened my communication skills, responsibility and ability to support others. These qualities play a big role in my tutoring style, where I make students feel comfortable asking questions and confident working through problems at their own pace.

I teach Physics, Chemistry and biology by breaking down complex topics into simple and logical steps that make science easier to understand. Each lesson includes a short review, a clear explanation of new material, guided practice, and support for homework, quizzes and exams. I tutor elementary, high-school and first-year university students, and I adapt my teaching to each student’s pace and learning style.
What sets me apart is my patient and structured teaching approach, I do not move on until the student fully understands and feels confident solving similar questions independently. I also share effective study strategies and exam techniques that have helped me succeed as a science student at the University of Toronto, so students learn both the content and how to study smarter.
