About Hailey
My name is Hailey and I’m eager to pass on my knowledge in physics! Throughout my high school and current post-secondary education, I've developed a strong foundation of physics understanding and a passion for the subject. In my Animal Biology major at the University of Guelph, I excel in my advanced physics courses and have helped my peers solve complex problems and employ effective study methods for upcoming evaluations. My enthusiasm for these subjects paired with ample teaching experience with children and young adults allows me to explain complex ideas catered to individual learning styles. New material can be intimidating, but I look forward to helping students gain confidence in physics and hopefully enjoying the process!

As a former gymnastics coach, I believe learning is an interactive process. Demonstrating or explaining a skill step-by-step creates a solid foundation of understanding, but much like a gymnast needs to train, students need the opportunity to practice, make mistakes, and revise their approach. As a tutor, I aim to break down information into familiar and simple terms, provide helpful resources and foster an environment where students are comfortable asking questions at any time. I will also accommodate different learning styles by listening to the student's objective and areas for improvement before jumping into teaching. This will maximize the time devoted to true learning and progress.
