About Maria
I am a third-year Honours English Literature student at Concordia University. I have a lot of experience reading and editing essays privately as well as for an advanced course at my previous CEGEP. I have been helping a number of university students achieve higher marks their in their English electives courses.
In my own field of study, I have easily been able to maintain straight A grades while consistently writing strong essays and literary reviews. I have a lot of experience in academic writing and I can confidently help students write papers that contain all the elements that teachers look for. My passion lies in teaching and helping others in achieving their academic goals.
I have always excelled in languages. I can help my students whether they are native English speakers or French speakers. I can also help French university students better their English proficiency.

I can help students gain a better understanding of their literary material and essay writing through our tutoring sessions. I offer a personalized approach for every student.
First, we would look at past work together and figure out whichareas need improving upon. Then, I would give the student the tools, advice and guidance they need to improve their essay writing skills or literary understanding for test prep.
If there is an assignment that needs to be completed, I can help you draft it, write it and edit it, while ensuring that you gain an understanding of the changes and edits every step of the way through completion.
My past students’ grades have greatly improved after essay writing sessions with me.
