About Alex
Hello, my name is Alex! My interests include music, learning new things, and exploring. I am an honours student who has just graduated high school, and is admitted to University of Toronto for life science this fall. I have gained experience tutoring friends and peers throughout my high school career.
My favourite subject in school is biology because it explains human function. I have always loved helping friends and peers in their studies. I have a flexible way of thinking and seeing things which helps me connect with others as well as help them improve. I have been told by teachers and peers that I am patient and my methods help others feel comfortable with subject material and learn at a pace suited for them. I am always looking out for ways to help others as well as feedback and ways to improve, so I decided to offer out help to fellow peers and families.

Lessons include outlines of key topics and diagrams. Students are welcome to come to me to seek clarification on topics, and I am willing to draw diagrams to help explain concepts in a way that works for them. I enjoy the sciences, and I have taken and helped peers in chemistry, biology, math, and physics. I am willing to help in elementary level maths, high school level chemistry (SCH3U & SCH4U) , and high school level biology (SBI3U & SBI4U). Other specific skills I can help in include trinomial factoring, introduction to derivative laws, and working with vectors. Further topics can be discussed.
