About Maddie
I am a German BA Hons student King's College London, I not only grew up in north Germany, but I also recently completed a Year Abroad in north Germany. On my year abroad I taught over 120 German children English, with ages ranging from 5 to 17 with varying abilities. Within this role, I devised lesson plans as well as games and activities to make learning a language feel less like a chore. Many students succeeded in their oral exams due to my tutoring.
I am English/German billingual. Due to German being my second language, I can understand the difficulty and frustration that goes with learning it, but I can fully vouch for the fact that it is worth it!

Just because it takes you longer to get there, doesn't mean you won't!
I believe learning a language is a skill that takes practice and patience, and that it is one of the most valuable skills you can aquire. I am patient but firm.
I like to make learning languages fun by devising activities and games that will help you in areas you may need a little extra help in.
I will tailor the lesson completely around the student, but I will always start with a vocabulary game followed by more specific focus on areas for improvement; whether this be helping with homework, grammar, studying for an exam, and create lesson plans based on your needs entirely.
