About Lucy
I am currently in my first year in sixth form, studying Mathematics, English Literature, and Psychology. I have had no previous private tutoring experience, but I enjoy helping my fellow peers understand the work they struggle and feel proud when they excel in a topic, when I helped them overcome a particular obstacle.

I would explain what we would aim to be learning at the beginning of each session, then go through an example myself, slowly explaining each stage to ensure I'm not confusing any of the students. I would then approach another example this time asking the student(s) to suggest how I do it; I'd give the students an example to try on their own, then I would go through it with them and pointing any mistakes they make, and praising them for their effort. Finally I'd give them a few questions to try individually.
