About Sage
I just graduated year 12 with a 92% in Extension one english. In year 11 i was apprehensive as everyone in the class seemed to be smarter, better writers and readers and seemed to understand even the most complex ideas and I struggled to do so, it made me feel small and really damaged my love for english. I want to teach students that it’s about putting in the effort and time to become better for yourself, so that you are happy with your own results. It’s about you, no one else.

I hope to make learning English in school easier and more fun for students. As someone who has always loved reading and writing but has struggled with love for english in school, my results at the end of this year made me realise how important it is that students learn to embrace even the most dull classic texts, Shakespeare, creative writing and essay writing.
