About Carla
Hi I'm Carla,
I have been tutoring primary to high school students for 5+ years, and have loved every hour.
I finished high school in 2017 with an ATAR of 98. I have completed a bachelor of Computer Science at UNSW. I love teaching students and sharing all the wisdom and tips I picked up through my time studying. I'm passionate about maths and science, and hope I can make my students passionate too! I also enjoy teaching English and comprehension skills, and geography.
I look forward to working together!

When tutoring, I endeavour to seek the reasons a student doesn't like the subject, and try to make the work or concepts something the student finds interesting or enjoys. This may be through using science in the real world, or breaking math or english concepts down to easy numbered steps.
I also aim to teach concepts from the ground up, as often I find students are missing an integral concept that helps the big picture concept make sense.
For Biology, I can also assist with study plans/skills/time management to help conquer all the content without getting overwhelmed.
