About Folafunmi
Hi! I’m Fola, an English tutor and HR professional from Nigeria. I enjoy communicating, meeting people from different backgrounds and helping others express themselves clearly and confidently.
I have a background in Human Resources and professional communication, which has given me strong experience in written and verbal communication, interviewing, presentations and working with people from different backgrounds.
My lessons are friendly, practical and tailored to your individual goals. Whether you want to improve your everyday English, become more confident speaking, strengthen your grammar and vocabulary, or communicate better at work, I’ll help you learn in a relaxed and supportive environment.
You don’t have to worry about making mistakes in my classes — mistakes are part of learning! We’ll work at your pace and focus on making your English more natural and useful in real-life situations.

My lessons are practical, interactive and tailored to each student's goals and current English level.
We can focus on conversational English, speaking confidence, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing or professional English depending on what you need.
For speaking-focused lessons, we’ll have conversations around everyday topics and situations that are relevant to you. I’ll help you identify mistakes, introduce useful vocabulary and expressions, and show you more natural ways to communicate.
For students learning English for work, we can practise professional conversations, interviews, presentations, emails and workplace communication.
Each lesson is adapted to your pace and learning needs. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and practising without feeling judged.
My goal is not just to teach you English, but to help you feel confident using it in real-life situations.
