About Gemma
Hi! I am a qualified teacher from Barcelona living in Vancouver. I studied Humanities at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and I also have my master's degree in Education. I have a lot of experience in academies and as a freelancer (6 years), but also I had the opportunity to teach in secondary schools in Catalonia (2 years), they were between 12 to 18 years old (or more). Since I started teaching, I have had students from a lot of countries (Canada, Italy, US, China, France...) and all ages (kids, teens and adults). I offer online and F2F lessons. My teaching methods involve learning the theory and more important aspects with different methodologies. For example, one of the most useful techniques is playing A LOT OF GAMES to practice any of the subjects that I can teach. Also, watching videos and doing other activities is important to learn all the topics that you need to know. - Private classes or up to 3 students group lessons. - Worksheets, songs and news, Classroom and more! - It can be online, at your home or at the library.
