Vivek taught me Maths through my Cambridge AS and A Levels. Before him I found the subject stressful. He has a way of breaking a difficult question into small steps that make sense, and he never made me feel stupid for asking the same thing twice. I remember going into my AS year completely stuck on one topic. After a couple of sessions with him it finally clicked, and that confidence stayed with me all the way to the A Level exam. He is patient, always prepared, and actually cares whether you understand rather than just covering the syllabus. Vivek Sir is a professional and detailed tutor. He always ensures that all his students understand the topic before moving on and never hesitates to explain a topic more than once. Vivek has been teaching me maths since MYP4-5 and currently DP1 AA Hl.He explains each topic step by step and checks that you really understand it before moving on. He also helps us to understand why certain concepts work. He has allot of question we can practice and undertsand different problems including ones that help in IB test. I took lessons from Vivek sir for Maths in MYP4-5 as well as in DP1 for Maths AA HL. The period after online learning in COVID had made it difficult for me to follow through what was going on and I was struggling. He not only helped me during this phase, but then afterwards also helped me level up and try questions which were challenging and pushed me beyond the general class material as well. I became much more confident and started understanding the concepts a lot more thoroughly, and also got a lot of extra practice through the sessions. He also helped me to catch up on backlog during a period where I missed a month of school in DP1, so I felt like I was not alone and had a support through which I was able to come back on track.
