About Thomas
With over 20 years of teaching experience, I bring a friendly yet highly professional approach to every lesson. I’m DELTA-qualified, hold a PGCert in Teaching English for Academic Purposes, and currently lecture in English for university students. My passion is helping learners unlock their full potential and achieve their target IELTS score whilst also improving academic writing and building confidence in communication. Lessons usually last 60–90 minutes and include speaking, writing, listening, and reading components, with a special focus on the areas that make the biggest difference to your band score target. As a DELTA-qualified university lecturer with a PGCert in Teaching English for Academic Purposes (TEAP) and over 20 years of experience, I’ve helped hundreds of students succeed in IELTS and academic English. My approach combines clear explanations, supportive guidance, and real-world academic insights, helping learners understand what to do and why to do it.
