Hello, I’m Ashok, a full stack developer and a graduate of IIIT, with more than 5 years of professional experience building web, mobile and AI applications.

HOW I WORK WITH STUDENTS
Before our first class, I’ll ask about your goal and current level, whether that’s learning your first programming language, passing a college subject, preparing for interviews, or building your own app. Then I’ll create a simple learning plan just for you. After each class, you’ll get notes, code samples and a small task so your progress continues between sessions.

Everyone starts somewhere, and I enjoy helping beginners go from “I don’t understand this” to “I built this myself.”

Hi, I’m Ashok, and I teach programming the way I use it at work every day.

MY TEACHING APPROACH
I believe you learn to code by building, not by watching. Every concept is explained in simple language with real-life analogies, then immediately practiced in code. I start at your level, whether that’s “what is a variable?” or “how do I connect an LLM to my app?”, and never move on until the idea is clear. Mistakes are part of the process, and I walk you through debugging so you learn to solve problems on your own.

TECHNIQUES I USE

1. Live coding together: I code first, then you code while I guide you
2. Step-by-step explanations with small, manageable exercises
3. Mini-projects after every topic, such as a calculator, a to-do app, or a chatbot
4. Real industry practices like Git, clean code, and using APIs, not just textbook theory
5. Notes, code samples, and practice tasks shared after each class

STRUCTURE OF A TYPICAL CLASS

1. Quick recap (5 to 10 min): review of the last class and any doubts
2. New concept (20 to 30 min): clear explanation with live examples
3. Hands-on practice (20 to 30 min): you code while I support you
4. Wrap-up and homework (5 to 10 min): summary and a small task for next time
