About Kaviraj
Finished school as an ice skater, never really studied much. Discovered physics in 11th and loved it enough to get me a fairly decent rank in JEE. Wanted to build cool tech while solving complex social problems. So founded uDot, building something called a tactile display with some amazing educational innovations to crack the unsolved problem of STEM learning for blind students worldwide. The toolbox that science and math provide not as facts and formulae but as a framework for a powerful thinker is not made apparent to a student. I want to try and enable that. I want to teach because it's something I have not been able to get time to do in quite a while. Also, I'm knee-deep in education as a domain but don't have the chance to even teach - that's depressing.

I will do one-on-one or online sessions based on a mutual discussion with the parent. Science and Math are what I'll teach. I will look at optimizing the outcome for scores but even more importantly a deep application level understanding. Storytelling, building up fundamentals through first principles reasoning, active learning, etc., can be used. There really isn't a predefined solution; a few times working with the student should be enough to figure out.
