I graduated in 2016 with a degree in biology from MIT. I have 2 years of experience teaching undergraduate general and lab-based biology classes as a TA. I have worked in cancer biology labs for 5 years, and still do!

Because there are a lot of step-by-step processes to learn, biology is a very visual subject. I've found that students learn these concepts best with the help of diagrams, visualizations, and stories. So that's what I do - when in doubt, I always draw things out, and encourage my students to do so as well.
