About Clara
I chose to study Chinese when in New York I accidentally ended up in China Town and discovered the beauty of a culture so far from ours. So, I graduated in Oriental Languages and Civilizations at Sapienza University, and I spent two study periods in China for six and three months respectively. I have attended several courses for teaching foreign languages and I have 24 ECTS for teaching. I have been passionate about music and study singing for a long time. For 10 years now I have been a volunteer at my parish and take care of educational activities for children aged 9 to 13.

I believe that for a language like Chinese it is essential to start from sounds and writing, and then to get to grammar and vocabulary. I believe it is necessary to lay a solid foundation in order to continue the study of the language. Each lesson will be dedicated not only to learning the language, but also to Chinese culture: each one essential. Certainly there will be homework (not too many), but very important for such a particular language. My lessons are for all ages: from 7 to 100 years old!
