About Rohin
I am a friendly and patient tutor who enjoys helping students break down complex topics and build confidence in their studies. I recognise that every student learns differently, so I take the time to adapt my teaching style to make lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to individual needs. My aim is not only to help students achieve their target grades, but also to make the learning process more enjoyable and less stressful. Over the past five years, I have tutored hundreds of students in mathematics and physics, many of whom have gone on to study at Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. As an alumnus of Woodhouse College, I have also delivered career panel talks and mentored sixth-form students, providing guidance on both academic and university pathways. This combination of teaching and mentoring has given me a deep understanding of how to support progress while inspiring students to aim higher.

My lessons typically last between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. Each session begins with a review of key content, followed by practice questions and guided walkthroughs to consolidate understanding. I make use of interactive whiteboarding to break down complex ideas and help students develop clear problem-solving strategies. I hold a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London and have worked as a Robotics Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space, bringing both academic expertise and real-world experience into my teaching. With over five years of teaching and mentoring experience, I focus on supporting A-Level students preparing for exams or aspiring to study STEM subjects at university. My aim is to help students achieve excellent results while also building lasting confidence and independent learning skills.
