About Adam
I am an engineering PhD student at Imperial College London. I have been giving mathematics tuutorials to students for over 5 years. I have tought both boarderline students, helping them to pass their GCSE and A-Level qualifications, as well as high level students - helping multiple students achieve an A* grade at A-Level and GCSE. As a graduate in chemical engineering, I have significant experience in applying mathematics to the real world - particularly in the areas of calculus, vectors and differential equations.

As a PhD student at a top UK university with significant tutoring experience, I am confidnet in providing excellent mathematics tutorials to students at GCSE and A-Level. Prior to my tutorials, I ask the students to attempt a short problem set, which we will cover in detail during the tutorial. This serves at a stepping stone from which to identify strength, and crucially, weaknesses which we can work together to improve. I am a firm believer that maths is a hands-on subject, and the only way to get better is to keep practicing. The highly interactive nature of all my tutorials reflects this.
