About Jazmin
Hi! I’m a second-year medical student at Imperial College London with a strong interest in teaching and education. I achieved all 9s at GCSE and a grade 7 for IB Biology HL, and I enjoy helping students break down challenging topics into clear, manageable steps.
I want to teach because I know how stressful GCSEs can feel, especially when students don’t fully understand a topic but are expected to apply it in exams. I enjoy explaining concepts in a way that actually makes sense, and helping students gain confidence as their understanding improves.
I’m friendly, patient, and organised, and I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them feel more confident and capable in Biology.

My GCSE Biology lessons are clear, structured, and exam-focused, designed to help students understand content thoroughly and apply it confidently in exams.
Each lesson begins by identifying areas the student finds challenging. I then explain concepts step by step using simple language, diagrams, and examples, before moving on to exam-style questions and mark-scheme technique. I place strong emphasis on command words, keywords, and common mistakes so students know exactly how to secure marks.
As a second-year medical student at Imperial College London, I help students understand the biology behind the facts, making topics easier to remember and link together. Lessons are adapted to the student’s exam board and learning style, whether they need support with foundations or are aiming for top grades.
I’m patient, encouraging, and organised, and I aim to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel confident asking questions and steadily improving.
