About Youssef
I am a Master's Physics student at Imperial College London with a strong interest in problem-solving and sport. I am also an analogue astronaut at Astroland, showing my passion for science, exploration and pushing myself outside my comfort zone. Outside academics, I enjoy football as a former academy player, scuba diving, and climbing.
I want to teach because, when I was studying for my GCSEs and A-Levels, I never had a tutor myself. I know how difficult it can be to work through challenging topics alone, so I want to help students feel supported and realise that maths and physics can become much clearer and enjoyable with the right guidance.
I also support with university applications within the UK and US with personal statements, interview preparations and admissions tests (ACT, PAT, MAT) via UCAS and Common Application.

I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, focusing on clear conceptual explanations, problem-solving, and exam-style practice. I aim to build confidence by breaking difficult concepts down step by step and setting appropriate homework to keep students intellectually active.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, with longer sessions available for exam preparation.
I teach GCSE and A-Level maths and physics.
