About Zak (MEng Imperial Computing)
Being a First Class Computer Science student at Imperial, I have the necessary knowledge and passion to teach you well, but my experience from teaching primary school students all the way to Year 13 allows me to teach the difficult concepts in a way that is straightforward. The unique advantage of being a First Class student on the most competitive undergraduate course in the UK is that I have the necessary insight and knowledge to help propel your academic career forward in the right direction. As a student myself, I recognise the importance of complete understanding of a topic rather than simply the memorisation and regurgitation that doesn't fully teach you. Having been teaching for the past 3 years, I have helped students from foundation GCSE to A-Level Maths meet their targets by ensuring I adapt to their level and explain it in a way that helps truly understand the topic at hand.

I am very flexible with lesson lengths; however, most of my lessons are structured as 1 or 2 hour sessions with 30 minutes of homework. This is to ensure my students understand the topic at hand and allows us to revisit topics that students are struggling with. I teach online using Zoom, an iPad to teach and a computer to host the lessons on. This is to ensure the lessons are clear and legible and the student can receive any notes written after the lesson. The lessons are interactive and require student participation throughout. My expertise lies in GCSE to A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science; however, I also have a lot of experience teaching GCSE Physics.
