About Emily
I am a second-year Engineering student currently studying at Imperial College London, having achieved three A's in Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-Level. I am a friendly and enthusiastic person who is keen to teach Maths and Physics to GCSE Level and below. I have a lot of experience working with children, such as supervising Masterclasses for secondary school pupils where they learn about Engineering phenomenons that occur in daily life.

For the first lesson, I would gain a better insight into the current academic status of the student, as well as what areas they would like to focus on. For subsequent lessons, we would work through practise questions together, to ensure that the student fully understands the concept. At the end of the lesson, I would set an appropriate amount of questions for the student to complete in their own time, and inform them of the topic for the next lesson so they can prepare their own materials accordingly.
Having gone through tutoring myself, I understand that sometimes a student can feel frustrated and disheartened when trying to conquer a topic, therefore I would be patient and willing to repeat concepts until the student believes that they fully understand their subject.
