About Joyal
My name is Joyal Tom and I am a medic at Imperial College London. Not too long ago, I went through exactly what you guys are going through right now! If you have any questions related to science/maths, or find some topics in these subjects to be confusing and just cant get your head around it, I'm sure I can help you out :)
I have been tutoring for a year now and I thoroughly enjoy being able to help others out. As a result of genuine passion and commitment for this hobby of mine I have personally received multiple 5 star reviews. First, I prepare myself by looking at the specification of the exam you are going to take. Next, I ask and find out what you already know about your subject/topic. From here on, I can help build up your knowledge through engaging discussion and active learning. Once I feel you have understood a topic, I like to see how you apply your knowledge through making you answer actual exam questions in exam conditions. Afterwards, I'll mark your responses according to the mark scheme. After I finish applauding your right answers :) I'll tell you what answers were wrong. Then, I'd ask you to have another go and answer differently this time. If the answer still isn't right, I'll give you some hints as to what the general theme of the answer could be, make you guess again and then I'll tell you what the answer is. After this, I'll explain why you were wrong first time round, whilst trying to solve any confusion during that may have led to the wrong answer in the first place.
