About Siddiq
I achieved four A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-level and am reading Mathematics this year at the University of Oxford. I have just left Emanuel School, where I was an academic scholar and Head Boy.

I have excelled in the UKMT Maths Challenges, reaching the British Maths Olympiads 1 and 2, as well as reaching the UK final of the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge. I have also led a Year 8 class of excelling pupils through UKMT Maths Challenge style questions, as volunteering for my DofE Gold Award.

I tend to want students to reach solutions with as little help as possible. This will help them work out concepts in their head their own way; they will arrange the ideas internally most naturally. It is great to see their cogs turning and to gently tease them towards a solution.

Siddiq has a great aptitude and passion for maths and enjoys inspiring others to share his enthusiasm for example by running a Year 8 maths extension club and giving presentations of his original research to fellow further maths A Level students.
I know Siddiq well. He has a calm nature and is very passionate about Mathematics so is very happy to impart his knowledge to others. He is a skilled Mathematician as proven by his involvement and success at numerous Mathematical challenges and awards at local and national levels.
