Hello! My name is Diji, and I am passionate about helping students discover the fun and challenge of chess. I am a patient, dedicated, and approachable tutor who believes that anyone can improve their chess skills with the right guidance and consistent practice.

My approach to teaching chess is focused on making every lesson enjoyable, practical, and easy to understand. I believe that students learn best when they understand the ideas behind each move rather than simply memorizing openings or strategies. I adapt my teaching style to each student's level, goals, and learning pace.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous topics, followed by a new chess concept such as tactics, opening principles, positional ideas, calculation, or endgame techniques. I use real game positions, puzzles, and practical examples to help students understand how to apply what they learn. We then practice together through guided exercises or games, where I explain the student's decisions and show them how they can improve.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patient and personalized approach. I encourage students to think independently, analyze their own moves, and develop good decision-making skills. I want every student to become a stronger chess player while also building concentration, confidence, creativity, and critical thinking.
