About Thabelo
I've always enjoyed mathematics because it rewards logical thinking and persistence. I understand that many students find the subject frustrating, so I aim to create a relaxed environment where they're comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
I'm patient, dependable, and take my responsibilities seriously. I believe steady progress comes from building a solid foundation, not rushing through topics. Seeing a student go from feeling stuck to solving problems confidently is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring.

My approach is to help students understand the reasoning behind the math instead of relying on memorization. Once the concepts are clear, students are better able to solve new and unfamiliar problems with confidence.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the topics the student is struggling with. We review the key concepts, work through examples together, and then practice similar questions until the student is comfortable solving them independently. I also focus on common mistakes, problem-solving techniques, and exam preparation where needed.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to suit their pace and learning style. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
My lessons are for primary and high school students of all ability levels. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for tests and exams, or wants to strengthen their understanding of mathematics, I tailor each lesson to their individual needs and goals.
