About Timothy
I am 34 years old and have been an avid student and teacher of chess for most of my adult life. In my experience players get the most benefit from one on one instruction, but I am comfortable teaching several students at once as well. I live in the OKC area and have participated in almost all of the local chess clubs. I love the game and want to help young players fall in love with the games as well. I have some experience tutoring students with special needs as well.

I am a veteran chess instructor with experience in both classroom settings as well as one on one instruction. I work best with young players who already have a strong grasp of the rules. I focus on fostering a fun environment that helps young players stay engaged for the duration of the lesson. I have an established curriculum, but that will change based on the player's strengths and weaknesses.
