About Neil
I am a self motivated, meticulous and highly organised individual. I am able to undertake several tasks simultaneously whilst working with passion, efficacy, determination and commitment. I am mature, open minded and adaptable to change. I can apply my own initiative to complete duties given to me but at the same time, remain a calm, friendly, good-humoured and approachable member of staff. I have thirteen years experience of private music tuition. I believe that during this time, I have always had a foothold in education but never took the steps to enter the profession. My Father was a primary school teacher so I think teaching may already be part of me. I enjoy using my teaching gift to enthuse children to become the very best people they can, and achieve success in whichever career they might choose. Teaching comes very naturally to me. I have demonstrated this through fantastic rapport with children, excellent communication skills, good vocal tonality and exceptional delivery of lesson materials. I currently have 30+ students and I am proving to be very popular. I always teach at a level that people can cope with but will still give some challenges to improve each of my students. I have people doing piano/singing exams with ABRSM and LAMDA. I teach children from the age of five up to adults aged 70+. You're never to old to start learning music! I love teaching and I count it a privilege to teach what I am extremely passionate about! I look forward to hearing from new students.
