About Heath
Hi, I'm Heath. I'm an incoming Dartmouth student with a 1560 SAT score, a 5 on AP Precalculus, and hands-on classroom experience as a geometry teaching assistant at Francis W. Parker School. I've also tutored peers through calculus and served as Senate Head in student government, so working with people and breaking down complex material is something I do naturally. I'm organized, reliable, and genuinely invested in helping students improve. You're in good hands.

I offer personalized SAT tutoring covering all sections, Math and Reading & Writing, for high school students at any level.
Before anything else, I figure out exactly where a student is struggling. There's no point drilling content they already know, so I tailor every session around the specific areas costing them points. From there, we work on building real understanding, not just memorizing tricks. For math, I give students a clear, repeatable way to approach problems so nothing catches them off guard on test day. For Reading & Writing, I focus on how to actually read the passages efficiently and work through answer choices without second-guessing everything.
A typical session starts with a quick review of what we covered last time, moves into focused instruction on one or two areas, and ends with real SAT practice problems under realistic conditions. I also assign work between sessions to keep the momentum going.
What makes me a little different is that I've been on both sides of the classroom. I worked as a geometry teaching assistant and have tutored friends through calculus, so I know how to explain things the way students actually think, not the way a textbook does. I keep sessions low-pressure but focused, because the goal is always real, measurable progress.
If you're a high schooler getting ready for the SAT, whether it's your first attempt or you're going back for a better score, these lessons are for you.
