About Amanda
Hi! I'm Amanda and I would love to work with you! My favorite thing about being a teacher is seeing when students "get it"! I have many strategies available as I have taught every grade level from first to sixth, and tutored students in grades seven through twelve. I am able to make even the most complex math problem understandable and solvable, conquering math fears and frustrations in the process. I am calm and patient, but also show my enthusiasm and excitement in my sessions. I don't just care about math, I care about my students and look forward to working with and learning more about them!

Hi! I would love to help you with math! I am qualified for any level of math elementary through high school. A typical session with me would be reviewing any content that needs additional help - or pre teaching the next lessons in your current progression - the related vocabulary, practice, and review of previous sessions. I have been rated highly effective by all previous evaluators in the public school setting and have high expectations for student success. My results are driven by enthusiastic and compassionate teaching.
